Scaling Guide – THCG Supply
Welcome to the Scaling Guide!
This page will help you understand how scaling works at THCG Supply and how to choose the correct option for your project.
Preset Scales (Micro to XX Large)
THCG Supply offers a range of preset scales from Micro to XX Large.
These scales are created by me and have a general size range for the artwork on your print.
Important Notes About Preset Scales
-
Each preset has a general range,
-
The exact range may vary slightly each time you order,
-
I do not keep historical records of previous scale measurements,
-
Preset scales are meant to provide a general look, not an exact measurement.
If you select a preset scale, your print will be sized within the range of that scale but cannot be custom-adjusted.
No Custom Sizes Under Presets
To prevent mistakes and miscommunication:
Preset scales cannot be changed.
No more writing in comments like:
-
“Make this 3 cm”
-
“Resize the character smaller”
-
“Match my last order’s scale”
These requests will not be applied under Micro, Small, Medium, Large, etc.
Preset scales = general range, no exact numbers.
When You Need an Exact Size
If you want:
-
A specific height or width,
-
Exact repeatability for future orders,
-
The same scale as an older print,
then you must choose:
Specific Element Size
This option allows you to tell me exactly what you need.
In the comment box, include:
-
the element you want measured
-
the height or width
-
in cm or inches
Example:
“Please size the main character to 4 cm tall.”
This is the only way to guarantee precision or future matching.
Why This System Exists
Because I have a very specific workflow (hello ADHD brain), unexpected sizing requests can:
-
interrupt my routine
-
create confusion
-
lead to mistakes
-
require reprints
-
and still may not match past orders
This system keeps everything consistent, clear, and stress-free for both of us.
Which Option Should You Choose?
Choose a Preset Scale if:
✔ You want a general size range
✔ You don’t need exact matching
✔ You trust the overall look of the scale
Choose Specific Element Size if:
✔ You need an exact measurement
✔ You want to repeat a past order
✔ You are particular about scale
✔ You need precise consistency
Quick FAQ
Will preset scales match my previous order?
No. Since I do not log past sizes, the range may be slightly different each order.
Can I request a preset scale but add a custom size in comments?
No. Those comments will not be applied.
If I care about matching, what should I select?
Always choose Specific Element Size.
